Ana Gracey Band
Ana Gracey is a very vibrant vocalist and songwriter. Her band has just recorded a live CD, 'No More Rain', produced by Jon Hiseman. Stefan was invited to play bass and to MD her band which includes the three marvelous musicians Eran Kendler (guitar), Billy Thompson (violin) and Accy Yeats (Drums). In August they played a couple of successful and enjoyable live shows in Germany and are set to go back for a prolonged tour next spring.

Stefan is currently playing bass for Heavy-Rock band Ellis. They have just recorded their first single with the help of legendary Rock producer Chris Kimsey (Rolling Stones). Their first live date after months of rehearsing will be at the Garage in Islington on November 10th. Make sure you bring your earplugs and a love for Soundgarden, RATM and Audioslave. Stefan will experiment live with his beloved custom-made distortion pedal built by DRM and the rest of his 'ridiculous' pedal board which earned him the nickname 'Twinkelfuss' sporned by Bush drummer Robin Goodridge.

Pete Brown, brother of soul singer Sam Brown, has taken on the role of MD and guitarist for Dr. Soulbandit's Prescription which is fronted by brilliant soul singer Lousie Marshall. The 14 piece band also features Kevin Robinson (trumpet) & Patrick Clahar (tenor), ex-horn section of Incognito. This huge outfit has, in the past, enjoyed performing with special guests like Steve Winwood ('Gimme some loving') & Tim Rice, Sam Brown and Henry Olonga. They have recently played with Blondie, Will Young and the Hot House Flowers at the Cornbury Festival and are going into the studio in November to record some exiting new tracks. Mike Sturgis will play drums and Pete Brown will produce the recording.

Angelux is an Electronica project by French singer and songwriter Norma Ray and NY Electronica producer Thomas Foyer. Stefan co-wrote 'Brasil' for their new album and has laid down several bass tracks in Thomas' high-end studio in NY. The album was mastered by Tom Coyne at Sterling Sound.

Elliott Randall has produced a remake of Bill Withers 'Lovely Day' for his forthcoming EP and has invited Stefan to play on the track. Of course, it was a joy to play this all-time classic bass line with it's great catchy character. (...it also reminded me a little bit of my past Limahl shows!!)

Mix is a very funky artist and has invited Stefan to play 8 tracks on her latest album called 'Spoffle'. She writes some seriously funky bass lines! Check her out in the music section.

'Back to Gaya' is an animated feature movie produced in Germany by Warner Brothers. Stefan has played bass on the title track.

'Mr. Pants' is an animated short film by New York based JoAnn Berman and Walter Velasquez. It was great fun laying down 70s Funk bass lines with a 'Shaft' feel and scored by Thomas Foyer.

Stefan played bass on Israeli multi-instrumentalist Koby Israelite's first album - 'Dance of the Iditos' has just beeing released by Avant-garde saxophonist John Zorn's label Tzadik in New York. The album has been very well received by the worldwide press and Stefan has had some nice credits like: '...the bass gets all wet and nasty...' (The Japan Times) and '...decidedly funky bassist Stefan Redtenbacher...' (The Squid's Ear).

Michael Rais is a New York Dance & House artist who has released his first album 'Deep Sonic'. Produced by Thomas Foyer for Lizard-on-fire productions the album features a couple of tracks with Stefan's basslines in a Deep House electronica setting.

Stefan has played on a remake of Queen's 'Somebody to Love', the title track for 'Ella Enchanted', a forthcoming Miramax feature film.

Elliott Randall, former guitarist of Steely Dan, has produced an album for Seattle based singer Susan Robkin. The rhythm section consists of Tony Levin on bass and Jerry Marotta on drums. Stefan has helped Elliot to create 'off-the wall' sound effects and loops for a couple of tracks on the album.

Film writer Dave Bradnum & Stefan continue their collaboration and currently awaiting the release of their 5th album, published by DeWolfe Publishing. The four previous releases, 'Guitar Mix I', 'Mean Streets', 'Latin Fever' & 'Journey through Cuba' have also featured guitarist Bob Weston, an early member of Fleetwood Mac.

The Paris based graphic design company Evostruct and the New York based production house Lizard on Fire Music are in frequent collaboration with Stefan. Recent work includes soundbites for Kenzo, France; a trailer for MTV; and bass session work for French vocal star Norma Ray who has just penned her first musical Kalandora in Paris.

Over the past year Stefan has worked with singer and songwriter John Thwaites to develop his album. After 4 months of recording at Pheonix studio the album 'Supernatural Love' was mastered at Abbey Road. The music can be best described as emotive songs in an acoustic setting. Stefan has played the bass and produced the whole album in addition to having written all the live string arrangements. Famara beach is the company behind John and they are currently preparing the production of 4 new songs.

'You don't know me' & 'Another Round', two songs produced by Thomas Foyer & Stefan, were released as the first singles of Italien Singer Salvo's album 'Unconditional'.
